Eastbourne-HMO

Scope

We were asked to assist with the redevelopment of a building in the town centre to convert it to HMO accommodation.

The project was quite involved as it included the upgrading of the electrical supply to allow for the extra electrical load 6 studio flats would use. Each flat had an its own bathroom with an electric shower and towel rail the flat had electric water heater, convector heater, low energy lighting and general sockets.

A fire alarm system was installed and emergency lighting was installed throughout the premises.

The communal areas all had low energy lighting which is PIR controlled to save unnecessary electrical energy usage.
