Scope

We were asked to carry out the rewiring of a kitchen at a holiday home in Pevensey.

The works involved a total rip out of the existing installation where the ceilings were removed and lowered, walls stripped back to bare plaster ready for a fit out.

The end result is super, low energy downlighters are in the ceiling with LED under cabinet lighting installed to provide that extra lighting on the worktops and also used as uplighting above the cabinets. New fuse board, sockets, heat/smoke detectors and dimmers to finish the job off.

The job involved replacing an ancient outdoor fuse board and replacing a new board in a kitchen cupboard. The electrician arrived promptly and worked throughout the day. They identified and sorted an electrical earthing problem on testing the system. All the work and how the new fuse board functions were fully explained. Excellent service.
