Ohme EV Charger at a customer’s house

Scope

We were asked to carry out the installation of a Ohme EV Car charger for a customer at their home in Bexhill.

As part of our scope of works, we carried out the application to connect with the local Distribution Network Operator on behalf of the customer. During the application process, it was noted that the DNO’s cut out needed upgrading to allow the connection of the EV Charger, which was carried out by UK Power Networks.

The end result is an EV charger which is perfect for charging you EV at home, compact and discreet. It allows you to control your EV charging via its interactive LCD screen via the app, allowing you to keep a control of your costs with max price cap setting. The app lets you track your CO2 consumption with the ‘Green Score’ feature.

The job involved replacing an ancient outdoor fuse board and replacing a new board in a kitchen cupboard. The electrician arrived promptly and worked throughout the day.
