The scheme brought design, civils, plant and protection disciplines together on a tight timescale with meticulous design accuracy and rigorous adherence to safety standards. Open communication and a shared commitment to quality held every milestone, and the substation and post-meter works were commissioned ahead of the site's grand opening, the end client's principal driver, with successful adoption of the contestable works by both the DNO and the IDNO.
Reaching a fiftieth plot for one client is the clearest evidence of repeatable delivery. Delta HV has standardised the design, panel build and commissioning approach across the programme so each new site draws on proven arrangements rather than starting again — shortening the design and approval cycle, keeping quality consistent plot to plot, and holding fixed commercial dates such as a grand opening.
